Sand, sky and sea…why is this combination so mesmerising? So calming? So contemplative? So grounding? It seems the combination of sand, sea and sky always lures me to it. I take any opportunity to walk along the beach, to write a poem or a passing thought in the wet sand, to look for shells, sea glass and weird drift-wood, to wade in the shallow tidal pools, and to admire the ever-different, always breath-taking vista..the stunning combination of the changing light, the wet sand and the sea in all its glorious moods.
