I came across this car wreckers/scrap metal yard on a walk recently, and the thing that caught my eye more than anything else where these brilliantly coloured metal springs. They were dumped in a rusty barrel with other bits of scrap metal. I liked their colours and the patina of the old weather beaten items. I immediately thought it would make an interesting photograph.
